As of January 2025, Agra Metro’s Phase 1 project has hit 16 tunnel breakthroughs using a massive 6.61 m EPBM. Elevated viaduct construction and station work are underway, backed by a ₹1,242.79 crore L&T contract and a €450 million loan from the European Investment Bank. The entire corridor is projected to be complete by 2026.
