How Mubarak Manzil’s Last Stand Led to the Vanishing of a Mughal Masterpiece in Broad Daylight

In early January 2025, Agra’s 17th-century Mubarak Manzil, built by Aurangzeb, was largely demolished—despite its protected status. Local residents allege collusion between builders and officials as over 100 tractors of debris were carted away.
